Car is complete but is stripped down. Body and frame (except aluminum) have been acid etched. Inner plates, sills, A&B posts have been replaced. No time to finish. Asking $4,000 OBO.

The following e-mail offering another 1958 MGA project for sale was received by the club, it is being posted here verbaitim.

This email came to me from a friend whose friend is trying to sell a couple of MGA's, could you pass it along to the members. I myself do not know the fellow who is trying to sell the cars. Also if a member is also involved with the MG club could they pass the information along to that group.

I think I told you about my friend Bob in St Albert who has an MG A (1958 he thinks) that he needs to find a home for. Actually he said he has parts for 2 of them that he hoped to make 1 car out of. He has moved from his acreage, which is being bulldozed and turned into a highway, into the city and doesn't have room for the cars. If you know anyone interested in such a project, Bob's email is bpavelich(at)toplineprojects.com and he would love to hear from them. Unfortunately, time is not on his side as he was supposed to be off the acreage on April 1 and just moved last weekend so he doesn't know how long before the bulldozers will show up to start demolishing the place. I think he would like a few bucks for the thing but his big interest seems to be in finding a good home for it, with someone who will fulfill his dream of seeing it on the road again.
